1. Raw Material Preparation
Select high-quality steel, usually alloy steel with high hardness, high strength and good toughness to ensure that the saw blade can withstand huge pressure and impact in the harsh working environment of mines.
Prepare diamond or other super-hard material particles, which will be used to make the cutting edge of the saw blade to achieve efficient cutting of hard rocks.
2. Saw Blade Base Processing
Forging: Heat the steel to a high temperature and then forge it through forging equipment to form the required shape and size, improving the density and uniformity of the material.
Machining: Use equipment such as numerical control machines to precisely process the saw blade base, including operations such as cutting, drilling, and milling to ensure the dimensional accuracy of the saw blade and the positional accuracy of the mounting holes.
Heat treatment: Perform heat treatment on the saw blade base, such as quenching and tempering, to improve its hardness, strength and wear resistance.
3. Cutter Head Production
Mix diamond or other super-hard material particles with a metal binder to form cutter head material.
Use processes such as hot pressing or cold pressing to press the cutter head material into the required shape and size.
Perform sintering or welding and other treatments on the cutter head to firmly combine it with the saw blade base.
4. Saw Blade Assembly
Install the fabricated cutter head on the saw blade base. Usually, high-strength connection methods such as laser welding and silver soldering are adopted to ensure that the cutter head will not fall off during operation.
Perform balance adjustment on the saw blade. By adding balance weights to the saw blade or performing mechanical processing and other methods, keep the saw blade balanced during high-speed rotation to reduce vibration and noise.
5. Quality Inspection
Appearance inspection: Check whether the appearance of the saw blade has defects such as cracks, scratches, and deformations.
Dimensional inspection: Use measuring tools to inspect the dimensions of the saw blade such as diameter, thickness, and bore diameter to ensure compliance with design requirements.
Hardness inspection: Use a hardness tester to inspect the hardness of the saw blade to ensure that it reaches the specified hardness value.
Cutting performance test: Install the saw blade on the mining machine for actual cutting tests to check its cutting efficiency, cutting quality and service life and other performance indicators.
6. Packaging and Storage
Package the qualified saw blades. Usually, packaging materials such as wooden boxes or plastic boxes are used to protect the saw blades from damage during transportation and storage.
Mark information such as the specification, model, production date, and manufacturer of the saw blade on the packaging for user identification and use.
Store the packaged saw blades in a dry, ventilated, and moisture-proof warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature environments.
